The following week will have her calling at Cozumel, Roatan, Honduras, and Yucatan (Progreso) Mexico. For a virtual tour of the ship and additional information check the following link :http://tinyurl.com/3yvae8 Galveston Texas has been one of the fastest growing cruise ports in the United States over the past six or seven years. With the increased popularity of “Homeland” cruising since the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 Galveston has benefitted enormously. The port has seen steady growth since Carnival Cruise Lines began operating the CELEBRATION out of the seaport in 2000. Carnival currently operates the Fantasy Class vessel ECSTASY, and the newer and larger CONQUEST. Galveston, has been without a Royal Caribbean ship since last April. The increase in the number of passengers, 3114 on VOYAGER, will help offset the loss of other vessels over the past two years.
